Clipstone Village Hall

The Clipstone Village Hall is available to hire and consists of two adjoined rooms, the main hall and the meeting room. These are attached to a large kitchen fitted with microwave, fridge tea and coffee making facilities.

If you need a large space for your function or children's party the village hall will accommodate up to 290 people. The hall is also available for regular group meetings. We currently host sessions as diverse as dance classes, slimming world and dog training.

The meeting room is ideal for seminars and talks and has a seated capacity of up to 30 depending on layout.

Separate hire is, of course, available and both facilities have kitchen access for food preparation and beverages.

• Village Hall Letting - First Time Users

  Is this the first time you have made a booking, or are you booking for a new activity?

  For legal reasons, the first time you book for a new activity - one that has not previously taken place at the Village Hall or you are a new user – we need you to complete and return a paper form. This gives details of the activity that are required for insurance purposes. So, to make a first booking:

  • Download and read our Terms and Conditions
  • Download, print out and fill in our Booking Form, then return it to the parish office at the Village Hall (details below). Booking forms are available from office if you are unable to print them yourself.

  Have you previously filled in a form for this activity?

  If you are booking a new session for an activity you have run previously, there is no need to fill in the booking form again.

  You can add new sessions, or delete or change the details of sessions already booked using our online booking system. If you prefer, you can also email or call the Parish Office during opening hours.

  Occasional users are required to pay a £50 bond in cash. This will be refunded if the premises were left in good order and the event did not overrun.

  • Any occasional bookings to be paid for in full (including bond) 14 days before the event.
  • Only cancellations given with 28 days’ notice will be refunded. (all users)
  
  

  When you make a booking, using either the paper form or online booking, you will receive an invoice for the time you have booked. Payment in full needs to be made at least 12 working days before the event. Payment may be made either by cash, cheque or by bank transfer. Unfortunately, we do not have facilities to accept card payments.

  The online booking system is intended for clubs, organisations and individuals who make regular bookings at the Village Hall. For a one-off booking, please contact the Parish Clerk or complete and return the Booking Form. If you intend to make regular bookings in the future, please contact us to set up an online booking account.

  Before making a booking, please visit the calendar below to see if the hall is free at your chosen time. There is a drop down to choose either the Village Hall or the Meeting Room.
